There are many foods that antioxidants can be found in their natural form, and when eaten in the diet they can be beneficial for overall health. Antioxidants are considered essential for body health and help to build up the immune system to fight off disease like Alzheimer’s, heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and others. This is because they help the body fight the oxidization of free radicals in the tissue and there are foods that can have the same effect as taking supplements.
