Allergies constitute a common disorder for millions of people year round, along with seasonal allergies, which worsen when there is pollen breathed into the lungs. The basic complications are respiratory issues and many times is caused by pollen, molds, dust mites, but it can be caused by allergens like perfumes and house cleaning products. Allergy symptoms can include runny nose, watery eyes, coughing, sneezing, headaches and skin irritation like hives. However, there are also herbal supplements that are able to help battle allergies because of their chemical makeup. These herbal supplements include: chamomile is one of these herbal supplements in which the flowers of the plant are used as teas and tinctures. Ephedra has compounds which can help to relieve bronchial spasms and congestion. The herbal eyebright has compounds that can reduce hay fever symptoms. Eucalyptus is an herbal that can be used as a decongestant, while rooibos has antihistamine compounds. Nettle can help with sinus inflammation, because of the properties that are naturally found in the plant. |
