Lecithin is a natural substance which imitates the function of good or HDL cholesterol with bad or LDL cholesterol. Supplements of lecithin are also traded in powder, capsule, or granular forms.  A normal person can consume about 50 mg of lecithin in a day and if you want to lower your cholesterol level then you have to increase this quantity of intake.
